PT Avocet Bolaang Mongondow (PT ABM), a gold mining company which is a member of Avocet PLC located in Lanut, East Bolaang Mongondow, North Sulawesi, is inviting skilled and highly committed candidates to fill the following positions:



JUNIOR MINE ENGINEER
Essential requirements

• Hold a degree at S1 level or equivalent from a recognized university majoring in mine engineer.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Preferably local candidate (North Sulawesi).
• Computer literate especially in mining software will be an advantage.
• Single.

MINE ENGINEER
Essential requirements

• Possess a degree at S1 level or equivalent from a recognized university majoring in mine engineer.
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in mining industry, candidate with an experience in gold mining is preferably.
• Computer literate especially mining software, SURPAC is preferable.

SENIOR MINE PLANNING ENGINEER
Essential requirements

• Hold a degree at S1 level or equivalent from a recognized university majoring in mine engineering.
• 8 years professional experience in a mine technical position.
• Computer literate especially in mining software, SURPAC is preferably.
• Sound decision-making skills to address a variety of management issues.
• Understanding of financial analysis methods.
• Leadership skills to direct and motivate the team.

JUNIOR GEOLOGIST
Essential requirements

• Hold a degree at S1 level or equivalent from a recognized university majoring in geology.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Computer literate particularly Mapinfo / ArcGIS will be an advantage.

RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT GEOLOGIST
Essential requirements

• Possess a degree at S1 level or equivalent from a recognized university majoring in geology.
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in gold exploration.
• Computer literate particularly Mapinfo /ArcGIS.

GRADE CONTROL GEOLOGIST
Essential requirements

• Possess a degree at S1 level or equivalent from a recognized university majoring in geology.
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in gold mining.
• Computer literate particularly DATAMINE/MICROMINE/SURPAC.

PLANT METALLURGIST
Essential requirements

• Possess a degree at S1 level or equivalent in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mining and mineral processing industry in a supervisory level position.
• Proven track record in technical project evaluation, management and control.
• Having highly developed problem solving, analytical thinking and creative thinking skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

SENIOR MAINTENANCE PLANNER
Essential Requirements:

• Possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or at least Senior Technical High School recognized Industrial Trade qualifications.
• Minimum 8 year experience as Maintenance Planner both for Fixed Plant and Mobile Maintenance in particular mechanical & high volt electrical in mining industry.
• Familiar with Fixed Plant equipment(Vessel/Tank, Pump, Agitator, Generator, Compressor, etc.) and Mobile Maintenance Equipment (Excavator, Dozer, Grader, Dump Truck, Drilling Machine, Dewatering Pump, Lighting Plant, Light Vehicle, etc).
• Computer literate.

General Requirements for all positions
English proficiency both written as well as spoken is considered as necessary.
Aware of mining safety and environmental standards.
